Magnified: wk5

Taking the simple to a whole new level, One Artichoke and One Glass full of Soda Water.
Oh what a change in view can do.

A Study to 1:1

I decided this week to do a little study going from around a 1:10 to a 1:1 magnification. A walk through the local grocery store or the near by feed and seed store offers some great inspiration and objects to work with.

Magnified: Wk4

Week four of experimenting with macro and still having a ball. A handful of saw dust, a pile of corks,  one pair of red rimmed glasses, two vintage silver spoons, and throw in a few no longer ticking watches and you're set.

A Magnified View: Week 2

Week #2 of my Macro Class and I am still amazed what you can do with things so simple. A mushroom, some lavender, and a whisk.

A Magnified View

My first go round at macro. Who knew pages of a book, cabbage, and an hour glass.
All photographed with a Nikon 105 macro lens in studio.

The Lumen Project

The Biocommunications photography concentration that I am in created a book,
The Lumen Project. We all came together and each worked on the different
areas of the book. The images are a collection of Lumen prints that we all created.
If you would like to know more there are links to the book, below.

Profits from this project go to the Randolph Community College Foundation for Photography student scholarships.
