Falling Shadows

I was scanning in some of my older work, so I decided to share. I was photographing my portfolio and my friend Tiffany came with me. We were exploring some deserted homes and sometimes you get what you are looking for. We walked up a flight of stairs and I saw how her shadow fell on the door. I had to get it. I shot this with a Bronica ETRS camera with Kodak Tmax film. You got to love that film.

My Boy

A few days before his 4th Birthday, I thought it would be fun to do a little photo shoot with my nephew. It was a lot of fun and he had a great time. There are a lot of finals but I wanted to show my favorite. This is just my boy looking so sweet. Thanks to all who kept Jacob smiling.

Intricate Design

These are just a few necklaces I shot for THaap Designs. Each wooden piece was hand carved by Thomas Haapapuro of THaap Designs. Each pendant is beautifully crafted and a true one of a kind. The intricate details and the artist inspiration are what makes these pieces absolutely beautiful. I am just so happy I was able to photograph this amazing artist's work. Winter Light

    

On Christmas night it started to snow, so I took that opportunity to take a few photos.  After my family dinner, I went out around my house and photographed everywhere I saw light. These are just a few from my photo tour. Both images were shot that night around 11:30pm. Both were shot at F4 for 30 seconds. You got to love those long exposures.

                    

The Rockin' Rocking Frog

This incredible design was created by Thomas Haapapuro of Thaap Designs. Anyone could have a rocking horse, but having a rocking frog is what can set you apart. This hand crafted wooden piece is original and is what should be on everyone's wish list. Support the arts and this amazing artist.

These beautiful pieces were created by Thomas Haapapuro of Thaap Designs and Kara Koonce of Carini Designs. Thaap Designs created the inspired hand cut wooden pendant and the beautiful beading was created by Carini Designs. This collaborative artist effort has been a success. Many of these pieces are being featured at the Wooden Stone Gallery at South Park Mall in Charlotte, North Carolina. These classic pieces will be feautured throughout the holiday season. Fall Drives

On Halloween, I took a drive with my family to the mountains and we came across a deserted old water park. So I shot a few photos and shot this panoramic. This park was in Moravian Falls, NC. 

As a storm was approaching, I went down to Mountain Island Lake in Charlotte, NC to shoot this panoramic.  You never know what you will come across on a Fall drive.
