Week 3 in DC.......... I spend most of my day in awe that I get to work at the Smithsonian Institution. I try to absorb everything I can when I am there. A started shooting a little over a week ago and have learned so many things since I have been there. So a big THANK YOU to the photographers I get to work with!!!! The biggest thing this week was the start of the Cherry Blossom Festival. I went out and photographed around the Tidal Basin and the surrounding area. This festival will continue for a few weeks so more to come from DC.

DC: Week One
Week one in DC. These are just a few images that are a product of my first week living in Washington DC. Each image was taken in a different area of the city throughout the week. Everyday I choose a different place to walk to and have an opportunity to take a few photos. I will continue to explore this city as long as I am here. More photos to come from every trek I take.

Hello DC!!!!!
Well, it is my first week in Washington DC, for an internship at the Smithsonian. Everyday after I get off, I take a walk around The Mall. As I was walking to the Lincoln Memorial, I decided to create a panorama of where I had been. And of course, incorporate the Washington Monument. More to come from every experience I get to have in this amazing city. This is the first photo and is for everyone who inspired and helped me get here.

Flare for Video
This past Tuesday, I had the privilege to shoot a music video with some amazing ladies, Jessi Hagood and Frazier Sizemore. We traveled out and found this amazing old house in the middle of an open field. Perfect for our video. While we were exploring the house, I noticed Frazier standing in the door way and I took this photograph. A little behind the scenes preview. A big thank you to Jessi and Frazier for an awesome morning and an even better video.
The music video will follow soon.
